Classes to suit all yogi’s
There are modifications in our classes for all levels of yogis, however we find beginner students are advised to start with our slower classes which offer more time to explore poses with instruction. They are the Beginner/Hatha/Yin and Go slow flow classes.
The more advanced yogi’s are welcome to join our flow classes and if you’re an Ashtangee the classes are Mysore style so please feel free to come in and do your practice.
When does my Intro pass start?
Your 30 Day Unlimited intro pass will start from your first class, not from the purchase of the pass. You will have 30 days of unlimited classes from your first visit to the studio.
What should I wear?
Comfortable and easy to move in clothing. Yoga tights, skins, shorts, singlet, t-shirt. Clothes that don’t restrict your movements and it’s a barefoot practice so please leave your shoes at the door.
What should I bring?
If you have your own yoga mat, please feel free to bring it along, otherwise mats are supplied.
Injury and Illness/ Pregnancy
Please let the teacher know of any injuries/illness/pregnancy before you commence class/your yogic practice.
Should I eat before class?
Avoid a heavy meal 2 -3 hours prior to class. Ensure your blood sugar levels are stable, like any form of exercise – not on a full stomach, and if it’s late/early you may need something to sustain your energy levels.
Class etiquette
Arrive on time: Please try to arrive 5-10 minutes before class is due to start to get set up.
Mobile phones: Turn off mobile phones.
Space: Please be respectful of others in the room, try not to disrupt their space – i.e don’t step over them/on their yoga mat.
How often should I attend classes?
2-3 classes per week will maintain your yogic fitness. On the intro pass, please attend as many classes as possible that are suitable for your level of yoga.
