The Element is the alchemical FIRE
This fire is vitalising, energising, transformative. This furnace of energy mingles the positive and negative energies to produce power, exuding from the navel to tip of breastbone. Our life energy can be rejuvenated, multiplied, and recycled utilising this area between the navel and breastbone.

The Middle Breath -SAMANA Vayu
Active at the navel center—midway between the realms of prana vayu in the chest and apana vayu in the pelvis—samana vayu is a concentrating, absorbing, and consolidating force. Its main function is assimilation of prana in all its forms—like a power station, samana collects energy absorbed through breath, food, sensory perception, and mental experiences and processes it to empower all aspects of life.

The Sensory avenue is sight and the eyes are the main receptive organs for light. Interestingly, when we have issues around the release of insulin from the pancreas (situated in the area traditionally allocated to Manipura), the eyes begin to suffer.

The Action organ is the anus, replete with the Autonomic Nervous system which acts unconsciously to regulate bodily functions.
