IDIOT | GENIUS

Idiot and Genius

This quote literally made me LOL ???? as I was reading it, as how often are we and it made me think of myself – yes how often am I the idiot in my life – 99% of the time I’d say! How often do we make mistakes or repeat the same stupid mistakes over and over again, how long will it take us to learn? Or me to learn, myself?

Mind – A Pandora’s Box

“Man’s mind is a pandora’s box. It contains the whole of evolution from the lowest creature to the highest genius. They are all living together in man’s mind simultaneously, they are all contemporaries.”

“We’re all in pandora’s box. Our mind body and soul, unless we can live with “perhaps”.

The meaning of relativity is “perhaps”! No thing can be said with certainty because everything is only relative, nothing is certain.

Can we look at light, and say it is light – it might be light when it is not dark, in comparison to a brighter light it may look dim. In comparison to a light a million time brighter it might look like a black hole, just a darkness. What is darkness? less light?”

Osho – Intelligence – The Creative response to Now

We all contain the genius and idiot in all that we do and say. Are we connecting with our inherent Albert Einstein or our Idiot? When making decisions we make the wisest choice we can at the time with all the available information to us. We like to think we are making informed decisions. We like to think we are not dim-witted but intelligent humans being.

Sometimes we just need to get out of our heads and thoughts and into the moment – in our body’s, mind’s and souls. Sometimes we need to let go in order to find the answer, sometimes what we think we see and know turns out to be something completely different.

Genius

Find time to come onto your mat and simply be in the moment.

Does that mean movement and flow or stillness? Whatever it is, it’s finding the genius within, it’s within us all we only need to create space for it and connect to our inner self/genius.

Give yourself the time and space for this to develop and notice how you feel before, during and after your practice.

We all need time to nurture the inner spirit of who we are and our inner being.

Have a wonderful week.

“The idiot is in you, and so is the genius. Of course, the idiot is much more powerful because it has longer history, and the genius is a very still, small voice.”

Osho – Intelligence, The Creative Response to Now

Hi Lou, I just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for providing yoga On Demand on your website.  Recently I had a sore lower back and found great release from the pain by doing some quick fix stretching. Many thanks.
