Let’s talk about connection

Yoga denotes from the root Sanskrit word Yuj, meaning the union, the coming together, the joining. Connection is an internal experience and our yoga practice is a great way to strengthen that experience.

WE CONNECT WITH OUR BODIES

We connect through our most tangible aspect – our physical being – our body – we see it, feel it and are obsessed with it a lot of the time – so we start with moving it and feeling and becoming aware of how it is to feel it. We start to connect and move with Purpose! Do you remember your first cat and cow, how you possibly had no feeling to the movement of your spine – our central nervous system connection and we’d lost it! A lot of the time we are so disconnected from our body until there is pain and disease before we do anything about it! Can we take that first step of connection to the body in yoga and move towards a better life.

WE CONNECT WITH MINDFULNESS

Yes we have other activities we love to do but are we present in the moment as we do them!! We are usually looking outward and thinking, but Yoga brings that connection inward to our body and breaths – to the present moment.

WE CONNECT WITH BREATHING

We can’t breathe into the future and we can’t breathe into the past. We can only breathe in this present moment! We move with it and when we synchronise with it, it is our anchor, it is our bridge to the mind and the body.

With practice, you can become a well-being

With the connection of all 3 aspects, we become well-beings – it’s Movement with Purpose! We do not need to be in physical proximity to other people to feel connected. Nor do we need a thousand friends to feel connected and loved. It comes from within. Yoga has that connection to build us from within. The answers come from within.

However, to achieve the mind-body-soul unification that yoga encourages, it takes practice.

Through this process of progression and self-achievement, we are able to become the best versions of ourselves and transform our entire being. So this offer is 30 days of YOGA – an opportunity for you to connect back into yourself, with time to practice your practice.

Can you make the commitment to feeling better, releasing pain and discomfort from the body? I’ve already had one returning student say her back is already thanking her from her first class! What will it be for you? I’m making it easy for you to re-integrate this practice into your life and then after 30 days making the commitment achievable to continue.

“Each of us had something to learn from the others and something to teach in return”
