Movement that Inspires

Movement that Inspires

Intelligence, intellect, emotions, energy. Energy in motion is movement. Thoughts are movement; physical, mental, emotions and spirit is all movement.

What inspires you to move? I set up In Motion with a purpose way back in 2007 to provide just that – an option for people to move and to feel better and to lead a better and healthier life with movement. The power in flow, movement is all things, thoughts, breath, energy, oxygen in the blood, circulation, digestion, it’s all movement.

Where is the quality of your movement? What inspires you to move?

Stagnation

“The primary and most beautiful of nature’s qualities is motion.” – Marquis De Sade

Movement can be from one thought to another, thought is movement. What creates the stagnation in who we are? How do we move yet find this sense of stillness and oneness that is spoken and written by the sages? How do we learn and shift and grow into the stillness of purity – is it not movement?

So is it a paradigm of where we are and where we wish to be? In the stillness yet moving to that stillness? Is there the spaciousness of all existence in the stillness yet in that stillness there is movement?

And in the times of regeneration when we need to completely rest – do we fight it and cause injury and illness to the body, mind and spirit as we fight the times when in fact we need to rest to create the new growth. The flower never fights it’s closing and opening of petals, it’s dying away in the winter and cold and new growth in the spring again. Is it not the same flower?

Sit and meditate on a plant, on nature and let it show us the meanings of movement that inspires.

In Motion Inspires

The mat work we do – whether it’s breath, body or mind it’s all as one – it brings us back into ourselves to be Inspired to discover more of who we are. To learn the ways we are – responses, reactions, connections, flow and MOVEMENT. To learn when we are good as we are, to know when to be still in form or to move it, to be calm or to agitate, to shift or to surrender and let go?

Find what inspires you and move with it, stay alive to the moment, to life and to be present to the feelings.

May we move through life smoothly and easily and as it is always said; how we are on the mat is how we are in life.

Have a great week everyone and as always move well, be well and live well. Stay in motion.

Blessings and Namaste Lou xo
