Spring Clean

Oct 19, 2020

Spring Equinox: Tuesday September 22

The Sun is both the source of light and life on Earth, and the Equinox and Solstice are the turning points in the solar cycle of the seasons.
Equinoxes happen every year on approximately March 20th and September 21st, when the Sun’s rays shine directly on the Equator.

During these two points of the year, the tilt of the Earth in its rotational orbit is in a straight alignment with the Sun. The sun crosses the celestial equator and we experience (nearly) balanced day and night, and light and dark.

With this, there is an incredible balance created, and all over the planet, day and night are approximately equal. Masculine and feminine are balanced, and the playing field is level for all.

Depending on what Hemisphere you’re in, and the time of year, the Equinox marks the entrance into either Spring or Autumn.
